Twitter analytics is something I don’t really pay attention to its details. Though, since the beginning of the year, I have been very active on the platform more than the previous year.

These are great tips, thanks for sharing them. Developing a solid social strategy is so much more than just aimlessly posting whatever you want, which is what so many people are doing.
It’s amazing how many people don’t take the time to delve into their analytics, and take a look at what’s working well and what isn’t. At the same time, they don’t tailor the content for each platform they’re posting on.

I can personally attest to the power of user generated content as we used this heavily for my baby product brand – contests especially. Not only did it lead to more followers and higher engagement even after the contests were over, but we made many direct sales from them as well.

That being said I haven’t been great at using social as a platform for direct sales, and need to get better at that this year. While it’s been good for my companies in terms of brand awareness, it’s nice to be able to put a direct ROI to something like this.

Hi Moss, Wow, I was amazed at the 80% of time spent on Mobile devices now online. A great point to use mobile first landing pages – I’d love to see examples of that one.
I also like your point about being where your audience IS – and being ready to change when they move to somewhere else. Many are not on Facebook as long as they used to be and are on Instagram. So a switch to another platform is key for many today too. Have a nice weekend Moss!
